Here are some steps of progression that I featured on photo snack showing how I edited my main image. By looking at different horror film magazines, I have noticed that a main image is important in order to attract readers in actually reading other headlines. I realised this and decided to make my main image stand out by editing its brightness and contrast and editing the background to make it look more vibrant. It also emphasised some colours for instance the red which symbolises blood and this reinforces the fact that the magazine is based on the genre horror.
